The fine details
Is my certificate purchase tax-deductible?
No. The donation is made by T-Rex Cookie, so your purchase is a standard business expense rather than a charitable contribution. You receive recognition, not a tax receipt. Consult your tax adviser for how the purchase applies.
How does redemption actually work?
After your certificate is purchased, you will receive an email outlining next steps. When
ready to redeem your certificate, we can get on a call to plan out your order. You
receive a single invoice on anything beyond your certificate credit.
What does the complimentary customization include?
Founding Five include custom logo labels and note cards on every gift, including orders that go beyond your credit. Brave Twenty holders can add custom labels and note cards to any order as well, quoted on your List Development Call.
Can we split the certificate across several orders?
Yes. We will track your balance for you and apply it across as many orders as you like. Your remaining credit is shown on every invoice, so you always know where you stand.
Does the certificate expire?
No. The face value never expires and your balance is yours.
When should we place our holiday order?
Sooner is better. Once you have had the chance to watch your welcome video, feel free to reach out. The earlier your list is confirmed, the more flexibility we have on your ship dates. We will walk you through the holiday production calendar on that call.
How does shipping work?
Gift orders ship at a flat $15 per gift address, billed as a separate line item on your invoice. Your certificate credit applies to product only, so it is not drawn down by shipping or tax. Standard checkout-calculated shipping applies to regular online orders.
Can we buy more than one certificate?
One certificate per company. Twenty-five companies lead The Big Give, and we want that to mean twenty-five different companies. If your credit runs out, you can order as much as you like beyond it at standard pricing.
Who receives the donation?
Proceeds will be receipted by Fairview Foundation, the fundraising arm of Masonic Children's Hospital. Every dollar supports the kids and families at Masonic Children's Hospital.

They provide specialized, compassionate care for children and families across Minnesota and beyond. Pediatric experts care for children with a wide range of complex and serious conditions, including cancer, with each child and family at the center of their care. Community generosity helps strengthen the programs, services and experiences that make a meaningful difference for patients and families at Fairview Masonic Children's University Hospital.
The Big Give runs September 1–30, 2026. Donation amounts: $500 per Brave Twenty certificate, $2,000 per Founding Five certificate, and 15% of all other trexcookie.com order revenue during the campaign period, donated by T-Rex Cookie to Fairview Foundation. Donations are totalled and remitted following the close of the campaign period. Certificate purchases and orders paid with certificate credit are excluded from the 15% calculation, as those dollars carry their own donations. Wholesale orders excluded. One certificate per company. Certificate face value does not expire; certificates are redeemable for T-Rex Cookie products. Certificate credit applies to product only and does not cover shipping or tax. Corporate gift orders ship at a flat $15 per gift address, billed as a separate line item. Recipient estimates are approximate and vary by box size and customization. Certificate credit does not combine with other promotions. Production capacity and ship dates are subject to availability and published blackout dates. Certificate purchases are not charitable contributions by the purchaser and are not tax-deductible as such. Proceeds will be receipted by Fairview Foundation, the fundraising arm of Masonic Children's Hospital.
